Fun in the sun

Yesterday (Monday) we went to Walmart to develop Kindra's pictures from Girl Scout camp and buy some groceries. We intended to stop by Target and PetSmart, but Anna wasn't feeling well. She had a terrible headache, and when I tried to get her to drink something, she threw up. Yuk. I thought she might be dehydrated because she'd played outside in the sun and heat all day Sunday, and didn't drink as much as she should. So we headed to my Dad's house and Anna rested while we visitied. Around 1230 we went to my Aunt Sharon's house to pick up Kindra and hang out wiht my cousin Cindy and her children for awhile. Before long, Anna was feeling back to normal. The children played outside in the pool again until it was time to head back over to my Dad's house. Margaret had picked up Kierra from daycare, so we visited with them for awhile. My brother Chris came by to pick up Kierra when he got off work, and then we met my mom for dinner at the Chinease buffet.

Mom had stopped by Target on her way home from work, and bought two new sprinklers and a Slip and Slide for the kids. So when we got home from dinner we set all of that up in the yard, and they played until it got dark. Noah got ready for bed and fell asleep shortly after we came inside, along with Kindra. They slept together on the futon in Mom's spare room. Anna fell asleep not long after, on the couch. Amaya didn't go to bed until around 1030 though!! She sleeps less than all of them...she was up before any of them this morning too!

Not sure what we are going to do today. We are going to try to take it easy, Noah is acting a little overwhelmed and needs a calm day I think. My sister and her husband are taking Kindra and Anna to Starlight Theater tonight to see Grease. Starlight is an outdoor Theater that has several plays/musicals each summer. It's a really good time, and I'd like to go, but it doesn't start until 830....which means you don't get home until around midnight, and that's just too late to leave Noah and Amaya home with my mom...especially since she has to leave for work by 730 in the morning!
