Yes, you read that right....it's snowing!! It actually started snowing Tuesday overnight, and has continued off and on throughout yesterday and today. At first, nothing was sticking because the ground temperature was too warm, but starting yesterday evening, it all started sticking to the trees and the grass. So now everything is covered in a thin layer of white. It's pretty but it's too early for winter to start!! It'll probably another month before we get our first major snowfall, one that will stay with us until spring, but the past two days have been a huge reminder that winter is just around the corner.
Anna was supposed to have a field trip to the apple orchard in Merrill, WI today, but it was postponed due to the weather. Hopefully they will be able to go again in the next couple of weeks. We didn't know it was postponed, so I sent her to school all bundled up, and we had hurried out to buy her new snow boots last night. Better safe than sorry.
Have you looked at our proofs online?? She made some edits that I requested, so now I have to get down to business and decide what to order. If you want any particular size of any particular print, PLEASE let me know ASAP. To get to the proofs, just click on the link that was on my journal yesterday.
My cousin Cindy and her children are on their way to our house, they will be here for the weekend. Noah is so excited that Aiden is coming, he's been planning all week what toys he's going to play with Aiden. I can't wait to get some pictures of the two of them together. When they look back at those pictures 20 years from now, it will be really special to them. Just like when Cindy and I look back at pictures taken of us together when we were little. There's nothing like a friend you've known your entire life.
Allen is doing much much better. He's still in the ICU, but is really making progress every day now, so hopefully he'll move to a regular room soon, and then head on home within the next week! Today is his 80th birthday!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALLEN, WE LOVE YOU!!
More later,
Rebecca
